After a filling dinner at Malbec, I was completely stuffed--but then I spotted the adorable orange bunny logo as we drove by. What was this cute dessert place? With easy street parking, we were inside within seconds to check it out. Normally, I avoid boba milk tea or Thai tea after 4 PM because the caffeine keeps me up all night. Thankfully, the Thai tea-flavored soft serve ice cream here was light and perfectly subtle in flavor. Despite being full, I couldn't resist going all in with the Thai Tea Trophy. This indulgent treat comes in a tall cup loaded with Thai tea soft serve, coconut jelly, honey boba, cornflakes, and grass jelly. Pro tip: if you check in on Yelp, you can save $0.50! While it was a delicious treat, there was no way I could finish it all in one sitting--it's definitely meant to be shared. Luckily, I live nearby, so I brought the rest home and enjoyed it over two more servings. The shop itself is quite small, with just one bench that fits three people at most, so most customers take their orders to go. In addition to their soft serve creations, they also offer a variety of drinks. It's a sweet spot I'll definitely visit again.
My daughter picked out this place when another place was closed. I've never heard of it before, but it was a very cute small place for ice cream or boba. My daughter got the fire rabbit and I had the soft serve with the mango syrup. And she also got a dark cocoa chocolate-chip cookie. They were all delicious and it was pretty quick service. Thanks L'moon creamery staff for the great service!! We'll be back for more!!
Great little place in South Pasadena, specializes in ice cream and drinks. Tried their infamous Thai Swirl and it did not disappoint. Also tried one of their Jasmine Latte with strawberry, it was tasty. The price is fair or average for most craft drink places, might try their Fire Series next. The cookies looked amazing and they give you the option to warm it but did not try as I had a huge dinner. The server/cashier was training a new employee so was a little busy but did not really give recommendations or ordering instructions even though we informed her that it was our first time. Will come back with our daughter as she likes boba with her drinks and ice cream.
If you love Thai tea then this is the perfect dessert spot for you! Located on Green St. In Old town Pasadena, L'Moon is a drink and dessert shop with street parking and cute decor. The building its in looks old, like many historic buildings in Pasadena but they've remodeled it a bit to fit a cute aesthetic. Tonight after dinner my husband and I came by for a sweet treat, a vanilla thai tea soft serve swirl with oreo crumb toppings and a jasmine milk tea with strawberry syrup added. My husband ordered 50% on the milk tea and it was not sweet at all and the team happily assisted in adding a little bit more sugar so it was nice. The thai tea soft serve was the star and we will definitely be back for more!
I was so excited when I found out L'Moon opened a second location in Pasadena. It's still far from me, but closer than their first store. Their drinks and soft server are delicious! They definitely kept up the quality with this second store. I got the thai tea soft serve float on a friend's recommendation as that's what she typically gets when she visits. It was excellent! I didn't realize that it was thai tea soft serve in thai tea!!! It's soft, smooth, and sweet! Highly recommend this to thai tea lovers. Opted out of getting any of their milk teas this time around as I just wasn't feeling it, but will absolutely try them out next time around along with maybe trying out their cookies? On a second visit with my husband, I got just a large thai tea soft serve, and while still really delicious, I like it much better with the thai milk tea. I find the liquid helps balance out the sheer thickness of the soft serve itself. The interior is super clear, and they have a modern and chic aesthetic going on. It feels very homey and really matches the fall season. We found parking easily along the street both times, but I can easily envision it getting packed on a busy Saturday or something? But I know Pasadena has plenty of parking and structures nearby so at most it'd be a small walk.
This is a tiny gem with such a sweet employee who made our visit even better. The shop itself is small, with just one bench inside by the window and another outside, but it has a cozy charm. We ordered the Thai Tea Soft Serve Float, and it was absolutely perfect for two to share. The combination of textures from the boba, coconut jelly, and crunchy corn flakes made every bite delicious. If you're a fan of thai tea, I'd definitely recommend stopping by.
Delicious soft serve with boba, and refreshing drinks for when it's hot out. Fast service, but when it's busy, it's worth the wait.
I came here because I was in the area for dinner and L'moon was only of the few places that was still open. I wanted to avoid the downtown Pasadena area, so this was perfect. It is a small store with like 1 bench, so not exactly an area to hang out, but more for takeout. This was fine to me since I was planning on taking my order to go anyways. The employee is the front was super nice and I opted for the Thai ice tea float with boba (which is a boba with soft serve ice cream) and a cookie. The float was pretty good, had good flavor, and wasn't super sweet, which I liked. The cookie (I got the chocolate and walnut) was also pretty decent. Reminded me of Levian Bakery cookie. I would definitely come back here again. One thing to note is that I didn't see a designated parking, but there was plenty of street parking. However, I did go close to closing, so I assume that it might be a little harder to find a spot if you go during busier times.
It's a cute little shop nowhere to really sit but just order in & out~ We had ordered the fire rabbit & the Thai tea soft serve, both were sooooo good! We got the stamp card & are gonna return again :)
If you love Thai tea this is for you! I love their Thai trophy, that is a later of boba, Thai tea ice cream, corn flakes, ice cream then boba and coconut jelly! I can tell you that this is the first time I really enjoyed Thai tea. I love that it's not that sweet that I didnt have a sore throat afterwards haha! The chewiness of the boba is good too! The service though needs to be improved, maybe because when we're there the other employee is still in training. My friend's order needs to be re-make because the first one is just too much ice cream. I will definitely rave about their Thai Tea!
